Anticipated IRA Savings

In 2024, CMTA helped numerous clients apply for federal funding through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022, which offers incentives for clean and renewable energy investments, decarbonization, sustainability investments, energy efficiency, and infrastructure upgrades. We’ve partnered with clients nationwide to leverage this funding to install sustainable systems and green technologies, with several clients anticipating the receipt of these funds in early 2025.For example, through an energy savings performance contract, our Energy Solutions team installed a ground source heat pump system and solar array at Greenbrier County Schools in West Virginia. Thanks to the IRA, these clean energy technologies are expected to generate a $2 million federal reimbursement. In Connecticut, Manchester Public Schools’ Bowers Elementary also anticipates over $2 million from IRA savings for implementing green technologies in their renovate-as-new facility. Additionally, Margaret Mary Health’s New Cancer Center in Batesville, Indiana is targeted as one of the first healthcare projects to receive funding from the Inflation Reduction Act.

CMTA is proud to support our clients in accessing federal funding and implementing sustainable, cost-effective solutions that propel them towards a more energy-efficient future.
