CMTA is leading this ESPC project for Itawamba Community College (ICC). This project is a Guaranteed Savings Contract partially funded by the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF).
The scope of the project includes:
- LED lighting replacements and retrofits for nearly 13,000 fixtures and 30,000 lamps for 23 facilities and site lighting across the Fulton campus, Tupelo campus, and the Belden Center, as well as sport lighting upgrades for the Davis Event Center
- A hot water plant renovation, including new condensing boilers and variable speed pumps for the W.O. Benjamin Fine Arts Center
- A chilled water plant renovation, including a new air-cooled chiller, variable speed chilled water pumps, and new dedicated outdoor air unit for the Natural Science Building
- A holistic HVAC renovation for the John Crubaugh Technical Education Center (TEC), including a new four-pipe system, hot water plant renovation with new condensing boilers and constant speed hot water pumps and dedicated outside air unit, and a chilled water plant renovation that includes a new air-cooled chiller and variable speed chilled water pumps
- The TEC will also receive a new HVAC direct digital controls system, new fire alarm system, and building envelope improvements
- New HVAC direct digital controls systems will be installed as well at the Soccer Complex and Athletic Field House
- Existing controls operational improvements will be put in place at 15 facilities with a focus on updating sequences of operation to improve efficiency, use, and reliability
