This project was a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract that included ten facilities that covered over 438,316 square feet in the Marion County Public School District, located in Lebanon, Kentucky.
- A new geothermal heating and cooling system was implemented at Lebanon Middle School
- All existing control systems were retro commissioned and a new web-based DDC system was installed at the fitness center
- T8s, metal halides, wall packs, and gym lights were replaced with new LED fixtures at multiple facilities
- Lebanon Middle School received high efficiency heat pump water heaters
- Building envelope repairs were implemented at Lebanon Elementary School, Calvary Elementary School, and the bus garage
For Phase 2, both Glasscock Elementary School and West Marion Elementary School received new web-based controls for the HVAC systems. Glasscock ES also received a full heat pump replacement.
For West Marion ES, all unit ventilators were converted to console heat pumps, and the electric boiler and hydronic pumps were replaced. A dedicated outdoor air system unit was installed for ventilation control. The existing cooling tower, electric boiler and pumps were replaced by a new geothermal system for heating and cooling purposes.
