Mayo Clinic Intensive Care Unit

Mayo Clinic’s world-renowned hospitals and clinics have an exemplary reputation for high standards of service. They are on the frontlines of cutting-edge medical innovation in clinic practice, education, and research, and are a preferred destination for patients needing complex care and support. CMTA has completed 60+ projects with Mayo Clinic Health System in the past five years, recently including an intensive care unit (ICU) remodel. An ICU is one of the most crucial operational services provided in a hospital. ICUs contain highly specialized technology and equipment needed to care for critically ill patients and require extensive healthcare experience when designing building systems. The Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato ICU remodel increased the number of patient beds from 10 to 15, allowing more efficiency for patient care. The work completed also included finishes, electrical upgrades, plumbing repairs, new headwalls with VCM cameras, patient lifts, and wider hallways and doors.
