This project was a Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract that included 7 schools and additional district support facilities for the Morgan County School District located in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Energy Upgrades are currently being performed in over 390,000 square feet of building space with 100% of the energy and operational savings funding the project.
Project highlights include:
- Comprehensive LED lighting replacements and retrofits throughout the entire district
- New direct digital HVAC control systems to monitor, diagnose, and troubleshoot HVAC systems at 6 schools and support buildings
- New HVAC rooftop units at the middle school as well as supplemental cooling and HVLV fan in the gym
- Renovations to the HVAC system at on elementary school to include re-zoning and system optimization
- Fire alarm upgrades at the middle school
- Water efficiency upgrades at Berkeley Springs High School, Paw Paw Schools, Warm Springs Intermediate, Warm Springs Middle and Widmyer Elementary School.
