CMTA performed this Guaranteed Energy Savings Contract project that included 6 school renovations, 3 auxiliary facility renovations, and 3 minor renovation sites. This project in Kentucky was 68% funded from energy and operational savings.
The project scope included:
Over 370,000 square feet of HVAC renovation in the Board of Education Building, Estes Elementary School, Foust Elementary School, Hager Preschool, Maintenance Office, Owensboro High School, Owensboro North Middle School and Sutton Elementary School
Boilers replaced in Owensboro High School and Owensboro North Middle School with high-efficiency condensing boilers
Chillers replaced in Owensboro North Middle School and Foust Elementary School
Over 760,000 square feet of new HVAC controls and integrated HVAC controls
LED lighting replacements and retrofits for over 6,500 fixtures, with new classroom dimming controls
Plumbing replacements and retrofits for 190 fixtures762 kW of roof-mounted solar photovoltaic panels installed across seven schools
Envelope improvements, including 13 door replacements
300 GPS devices installed
