Xtream Arena
The Xtream Arena is part of the Iowa River Landing $190 million reinvestment project to create a better area for visitors entering from Interstate 80. The new state-of-the-art arena and fieldhouse opened its doors in September 2020 and contains 5,100 seats. It will mainly be used for hockey and volleyball events and is connected to a recreation center and retail spaces, with a hotel currently under construction.
The entire Iowa City, Cedar Rapids corridor is going to benefit from this project —this is more than just an arena and a fieldhouse, it’s an incredible addition to the Iowa River Landing.
